Diane Pleasant has been in the mental health field since 1998, helping individuals and families overcome struggles in a variety of areas. She has a Doctorate in Psychology with a specialization in Criminology. In addition, she has a Master's degree in Human Development Counseling, along with a background in law enforcement and service in the United States Army Reserves. Diane actively practices mindfulness -based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while utilizing a range of assessment tools to promote individual growth and  self-awareness with each individual client engaged in the therapeutic process. She specializes in assisting clients actively involved in the criminal justice system when evaluation, assessment, testing, and treatment may be required. She also assists individuals and families in dealing with stress, anger, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, improved parenting skills, self-mutilation, substance abuse  or simply improve coping skills to dealing with life. 

Angel Wilson, BA, CADC

David graduated in 2008 with a Master of Arts degree in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois at Springfield. David's prior education includes completion of a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994 from Blackburn University with majors in Biology and Music Performance (piano option). He has worked in the medical profession as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital setting for many years before starting and while finishing his Master's degree. As a therapist, he focuses on issues related to eating disorders, gender identify, spirituality, substance abuse and family relationships. David works with individuals (in both private and group settings) as well as couples and families.

Angel graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois Springfield.  In 2016 she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Women and Gender Studies.  She is currently studying to obtain her Master of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in Criminology and Justice Studies. She has been a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 2014.  Angel has been involved in the criminal justice field for the past 20 years advocating for the reform and rehabilitation and humane treatment of justice involved individuals.  Angel is passionate about giving the substance user the tools to live a life of change.
