Substance Abuse & DUI Services:
Serving both adult and adolescent clients, Pleasant Counseling is an intimate environment where clients receive assistance for substance abuse issues. All clients are required to undergo an initial bio-psycho-social assessment to determine an appropriate level of care. Most treatment services are completing in groups. Additional concerns can be addressed through private counseling sessions including dual diagnosis support and outside referrals. Each client's recovery program requirements are individualized to avoid a "cookie-cutter" approach. Programs include psycho-educational classes, DUI evaluations, DUI risk education, anger management, MRT courses, and a three-level substance abuse outpatient program.
Psychological Testing:
There are times when counseling and/or medication just doesn't seem to help fix the problem. On those occasions, you may be referred for some psychological testing to dig deeper to finding out what the problem may be in order to help find a solution. Pleasant Counseling offers limited Psychological Testing to help identify disorders or to rule out other diagnoses. Some patients may be referred for a mental health assessment to determine if they would be a "good fit" for certain medical procedures. Psychological Tests can help doctors and clinicians to providing you with the best care. Inquire for further information.
